Monitoring the activities of those annoying Chuggers or “Charity Muggers” (they prefer to be called “Street Fundraisers”). These are the people who approach you on the street on behalf of a charity and try to persuade you to commit to a regular donation. Many find them a right nuisance! Counted 6 Greenpeace chugger in Cheltenham today. Under the terms of the SMA they will only be allowed 4 but the SMA isn't in force yet :( I wonder if there will be redundancies? Or will they move some chuggers out to unregulated locations?
